Because I saw a journal that stated "Pixel icons are not worth DDs"

Do you know how hard pixel art is? It isn't that easy.

For anyone who thinks that pixel art is extremely simple, I would like to see YOU do some advanced pixel art WITH complex animation. :roll:

Even the icons take a long time. The icons that I make are extremely simple, and only take 10-15 minutes, but some of the actual complex, animated ones can take a while to make.

Я только начал интересоваться пиксель артом, но даже рисование простой лягушки 16х16 заняло много времени. Так что я согласен - создавать что-то действительно красивое очень трудно! (прошу прощения за плохой английский)

I became interested in pixel art, but even a simple drawing of a frog 1616 took a long time. So I agree - to create something really beautiful very hard! (sorry for bad english)

Agreed! Sometimes the shape looks wrong in your eye and It's all a big mess and you have to get it looking just right!

I am doing pixel icons and it's easy. Not REALLY easy, but not too difficult.

...But large pixels scare me so much. :fear:

Yeah, large pixels are pretty hard. Some people can do them so amazingly and I'm just like "omg how do you do that???"

I agree with you. :O

I spend hours on some of my pixel art, to be honest, and it still doesn't even look that good compared to what others can achieve.
